Our ministry partner can no longer fund our program, which pays our nurse's salary. We very much want to keep Guerda on staff. Our children are very fortunate to have regular healthcare, and Guerda is a caring advocate for all of our children. She is family to us now, and we want to be able to assure her that her job is not in jeopardy.
We are so grateful to medical professionals throughout the world who put their lives at risk to care for others. Guerda travels out to Laborde knowing it is unsafe to do so. She recently took a child to the hospital for emergency treatment, without thought for her own wellbeing. She is a blessing to us, a great asset to HELO.
